And nobody should dismiss it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Spencer Pratt \u2014 yes, that Spencer Pratt \u2014 just posted a ten-minute<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">video about California\u2019s election system that every Republican politician in the country should be forced to watch before they\u2019re allowed to complain about election integrity again. Not because Pratt is a political genius. But because he said something simple, honest, and exactly right that the professional political class has been mangling for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fraud isn\u2019t in the counting. It\u2019s in everything that happens before the counting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the argument that gets conservatives laughed out of the room when they lead with \u201cthe machines were hacked\u201d \u2014 because California\u2019s tabulation is, as Pratt put it, robotic in its accuracy. The machines count what they\u2019re given. The problem is what they\u2019re given. NGO workers swarming homeless encampments on Skid Row, harvesting ballots, telling people who to vote for \u2014 which is illegal under California\u2019s own laws, laws that California has simultaneously stripped of any enforcement mechanism. A system so deliberately stripped of safeguards that, as Pratt said plainly, \u201cthere\u2019s no way to actually validate\u201d whether fraud is occurring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And here\u2019s the part that the \u201cthere\u2019s no widespread fraud\u201d crowd never engages with honestly: it doesn\u2019t matter. \u201cIn judicial ethics, the mere appearance of potential fraud is disqualifying,\u201d Pratt said. He\u2019s right. A system that cannot prove it\u2019s clean is a system that has already failed \u2014 regardless of what the actual ballot counts say. When voters believe their votes don\u2019t count, they stop voting. The window closed. He lost. And instead of storming ballot processing centers or holding rallies, he\u2019s doing actual investigative work \u2014 turning evidence into proof, because evidence without proof is just noise, and noise doesn\u2019t put anyone in handcuffs. \u201cYou don\u2019t get evidence by going to rallies,\u201d Pratt said. \u201cYou get evidence by doing real work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Read that sentence to every Republican who has spent the last four years screaming about stolen elections at rallies without producing a single prosecutable case. Pratt has videos of homeless people admitting they were paid for their votes. He got those by doing the work. He\u2019s now building the evidentiary record that turns those videos into charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCommie animals and handcuffs,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s how this ends if we do it right.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He\u2019s right about that too. California\u2019s election system isn\u2019t broken by accident. It was engineered this way, deliberately, by people who understand exactly what they built and why. The only way to fix it is the hard way \u2014 proof, prosecution, and reform before the next election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spencer Pratt just showed Republicans what that looks like.
